SINGAPORE, 11 November, 2019 – Legacy Music Festival is pulling out all stops to give music festival fans a sensational world-class experience on Dec 6 and 7, 2019 at Siloso Beach, Sentosa – with a first-of-its-kind stage structure to wow festival goers with lights and videos that match the music provided by the stellar international and local DJ line-up.

Structures of 50m by 50m X-trusses will be set up in the area in front of the main stage for the mounting of overhead lights, the likes of which have been done at music festivals overseas – such as Ultra Europe – with more than 400 moving lights and 800 LEDs, as well as beam lights and lasers. Strategically-placed CO2 Jets, moving flames, and pyrotechnics will complete the festival experience.

“In the spirit of bringing Legacy Music Festival goers a world-class experience, a first-of-its-kind stage structure was conceptualised by industry veterans with the objective of elevating senses to new highs. Festival goers will be encapsulated in an atmosphere of dizzying lights and effects towering from above. Those present will be treated to a new experience never before seen here,” saidProduction Designer Mohammed Addam Al-Maleq of AC Music Entertainment, who designed the stage and setting together with Singapore’s The Show Company.

The main stage will be backed by LED screens at different heights and all around the roof, fitted out with LED strobes and Storm 1 washes with extra Robe lights for beam and spot effects, and chauvet lights for strobe effects.

Festival goers will also be wearing LED wristbands that contain radio frequency receivers that allow the wristbands to light up or blink at synchronised colours and times. Said Addam: “We are trying tocreate a human light show, which enable festival attendees to be an integral part of The New Dawn at Legacy Festival.”

Trained in architectural and façade lighting, Addam, 26, has designed lighting for more than 10 clubs in Singapore since 2016, including Altitude Club, lulu Lounge and Bang Bang Club. He was the production director and assisting the lighting design for more than 20 shows such as Ultra Music Festival (2016 and 2017), UFC Fight Night (2018), and Institute of Technical Education’s annual Rock Central concerts (2015 and 2016).

The local production team supports top international DJ headliners Tiesto, Zedd, Don Diablo, Alok, Oliver Heldens, Cosmic Gate, Mark Sixma, Rave Republic, Swanky Tunes, Sub Zero Project.
